Purpose for Research

TxB Research is an initiative that teaches student how to think deeply about web3 technology and its future impact on various industries. Students will get to choose to specialize in Consumer, DeFi, or Infrastructure research*. Through writing, collaborative research, and presentations, students will learn to communicate and teach crucial web3 topics using their own unique perspectives.

Activities

Building a Robust Infrastructure

Through practical engagement, members of Texas Blockchain DevOps gain hands-on experience in managing and optimizing blockchain infrastructure. Our comprehensive training sessions cover everything from the setup and maintenance of nodes and validators to understanding the nuances of network security and governance.

Governance and On-Chain Involvement

We believe in the power of active participation. Members will learn how to contribute to on-chain governance, an essential skill for anyone looking to make a significant impact in the blockchain space. This involvement not only enhances the security and efficiency of the chains but also provides our team with a voice in their future direction.

Workshops and Mentoring

To ensure our members are well-prepared for the challenges and opportunities of blockchain infrastructure management, we host workshops led by industry veterans. These sessions offer insights into the latest technologies and strategies in blockchain DevOps. Additionally, our mentoring program connects novices with experienced professionals, creating a rich environment for knowledge exchange and professional growth.

Joining Forces with Larger Projects

Our ambition is to collaborate with major blockchain initiatives, contributing our expertise to enhance their infrastructure and governance. By becoming validators for leading networks like Ethereum, we aim to play a pivotal role in their development and success.
