At Texas Blockchain, we are building the next generation of innovators. We lead a community focused on the discussion and development of blockchain technology.

Members of Texas Blockchain have access to a wide network of blockchain professionals in the crypto space. We build cognizance and competence through focused research, workshops, projects, and speaker series.

Our Vision

We want to eventually get people from all walks of life to get into crypto and help bring our decentralized future into fruition where each person has true sovereignty over their data, their finance, and ultimately their life. Ultimately, we hope to have member chapters at universities across the state of Texas.

Come to our meetings to meet our members and learn the fundamentals of blockchain. Including topics such as NFTs, DeFi, Layer 1's, and more, we provide a curriculum to help you learn what blockchain even is, while getting to meet like-minded individuals.

TxB Research

TxB Research is a program focused on creating real-world analysis of the leading advancements and innovations in the web3 space. Focusing on 3 main sectors (Consumer, Infrastructure, DeFi), the program trains students to analyze a project, create critical analysis and writing, and pitch ideas to an audience. The team regularly examines white papers and performs technical analysis to determine the best up and coming projects in the crypto space.

TxB Labs

TxB Labs is a competitive Web3 hackathon team comprising two distinct groups: Learners and Hackers. Learners are committed to understanding Web3 and smart contract development fundamentals, while Hackers leverage their smart contract development expertise to participate in hackathons. To encourage engagement and recognize achievement, TxB Labs will reward the top-performing hackers with an all-expenses-paid trip to ETH Denver.

TxB Incubator

TxB Incubator is the first true web3 "ideator" and accelerator at UT Austin and the greater Austin area. Through the Texas Blockchain network, mentorship, and a rigorous 10-week cohort program, early-stage disruptive startups iterate and launch their idea into the market.

TxB Investment Fund

The TxB Investment Fund is an amalgamation of students interested in blockchain/web3 protocols, value investing, and research/due diligence. Over the course of the next two years, we will be investing around 25 Ethereum, that has been provided to us in partnership with Collab Currency VC. The investments are not limited to tokens but rather any form of investing on the blockchain: yield farming, NFTs, etc.

Longhorn DAO

Longhorn DAO is one of the newer arms of Texas Blockchain. The DAO will serve as a council that allows Texas Blockchain members to make an impact on the web3 ecosystem by voting on proposals of other protocols/projects.
