Building The Next Generation

At Texas Blockchain, we are building the next generation of innovators. We lead a community focused on the discussion and development of blockchain technology.

Members of Texas Blockchain have access to a wide network of blockchain professionals in the crypto space. We build competence through focused investment research, technical projects, hackathons, and speaker panels.

Our Vision

We want to help build a future where individuals have true sovereignty over their data and their finance by building the future generation of builders, investors, and leaders in the blockchain space.

Our Activities

General Meetings

We spend the first 15 minutes recapping work our club has done in the past week/month and then members split into their respective division. Some weeks we will have investment fund pitches, labs demos, or even speaker panels.

TxB Labs

TxB Labs is a competitive Web3 hackathon team comprising two distinct groups: Learners and Hackers. Learners are committed to understanding Web3 and smart contract development fundamentals, while Hackers leverage their smart contract development expertise to participate in hackathons. To encourage engagement and recognize achievement, TxB Labs will reward the top-performing hackers with an all-expenses-paid trip to ETH Denver.

TxB Incubator

TxB Incubator is the first true web3 "ideator" and accelerator at UT Austin and the greater Austin area. Through the Texas Blockchain network, mentorship, and a rigorous 10-week cohort program, early-stage disruptive startups iterate and launch their idea into the market.

TxB Investment Fund

The TxB Investment Fund is an amalgamation of students interested in blockchain/web3 protocols, value investing, and research/due diligence. Throughout the year we will be investing the 40 ETH that has been provided to us in partnership with Collab Currency VC as part of our membership in DormDAO. The investments can range from liquid tokens, to NFT, and even liquid staking.

TxB DevOps

At Texas Blockchain DevOps, our mission is to fortify the backbone of blockchain technology. By launching nodes, validators, and miners, we ensure the robustness and security of various blockchain networks. We aim to actively contribute to the governance of these chains, fostering a deeper involvement and understanding of their mechanics and potential impacts.
